I don't know what came across me that day,
But I tried imagining something I shouldn't even say
That night I bawled myself to sleep
But slept softly, without a peep
Until I dreamt it too
Dreamt of a life, without you

I was in intensive care, I cut too deep
I was losing more blood than i could keep
After the calls everyone came around
They all just stared, without a sound
They knew my fear had come true
The fear of a life, without you

Finally they spoke, said you'd want me here
To live life, and take care of those I find dear
Skies so bright became so gray
Not a word they said could make me stay
I died right then, I couldn't pull through
Because I couldn't live my life without you

I awoke from this dream out of breath
Crying my eyes out, and wishing for my death
I thought I lost you, my best friend
If that were to happen, my heart would never mend
I need you like Tigger needs Pooh
Because my life is nothing without you.
